DDL Presents Annular Space Seals at WODKAN in Warsaw

From September 8 to 10, DDL showcased its annular space sealing solutions at the WODKAN trade fair in Warsaw, sharing a joint stand with Kroll & Ziller and Mücher.

The focus was on link-seal systems and compression seals, which are primarily used for routing pipes and cables through walls and structures.

The Polish market has seen very positive development in recent years. At the same time, planners, construction firms, and contractors are showing increasing interest in high-quality, durable solutions. While simple methods—such as construction foam—were previously used for pipe and cable penetrations and sewer construction, the use of professional annular space seals is now becoming the standard.

The hybrid seals presented by DDL attracted particular interest. Composed of two distinct components, they combine the properties of EPDM and PUR, offering an appealing solution for the varied requirements involved in sealing pipe and cable penetrations.

A specific challenge in the Polish market is that pipe dimensions do not always align with the standard sizes common in Germany. This is precisely where DDL’s strength lies: visitors responded very positively to the company’s ability to flexibly adapt seals to specific installation scenarios and manufacture custom-made solutions.

Discussions at the trade fair revealed that, alongside attractive pricing, factors such as quality, reliability, and product longevity are playing an increasingly important role. DDL views this as a promising foundation for continued positive growth in the Polish market and looks forward to expanding existing contacts and forging new partnerships.
